WELL--. we might look at Lovey's way of breaking things down--

--Season is about a one quarter in--
------3 up 5 down--not so hot--especially when you feel we could be unbeaten at this point. Have not yet been blown away--
---------------That is a decent comment on our team's competitiveness
------ Most of the games were roadies--all across the Country--A push here or there , we win rather than lose. Our guys have gained much needed experience of this kind ( Roadies)---Will help in Conference--Not too much should bother our guys.

------ Three have truly risen--Milton, Keke and Christian---They can play with anybody
------ Turk is a bomber which will win us a few.
------ Our rebounding--spotty but better than I thought it would be.
------ Our BIGS are improving--albeit slowly
---------------- Our Game at Miss. St told me plenty--Our guys are just about there.--I had not seen that earlier--

Now then , the balance of our Pre-season can be looked at as the second quarter--
------ Next games will show us what they have learned--We should run the table up to Conference opener
------ If so , our won-loss record will be decent
------ I think we shall see a blow-out in our favor in some of these tilts
------ Hopefully our fans will show up--despite our heartbreaking losses--I trust they will note that we are almost there
------ Most if not all our injuries will be in the past--'cept for Tanner

--The task will be to get a little better in all facets each of the next outings--Our bench will be longer at last.

Lastly--Must make over 75% of our freebies --NO EXCUSES--
--Coaches to look in the mirror

I think we shall be OK soon.

GO RAMBLERS !!

It's not my team but I think I'd lower the MUST in the 75% FT shooting. It may not sound like much, but 70% sounds more reasonable for a good FT shooting team to be over. I keep the Shocker Records over at Wheatshocker.com and our best season as a team is 74.6 which were accomplished in both 09-10 and 10-11.

There are certain individuals that should obviously exceed that, but as a team, it's pretty tough.

The rest seems pretty reasonable though. You guys have let a few games get away from you that probably should have been wins, but young teams have to learn how to win those and I'm sure they'll figure out how to hold on to some of these leads. You guys will be fine.
