The stoppages of play were due to a malfunctioning clock at the scorers table... |

This was a tough loss. We were leading by 16 points in the first half with about 3 minutes left on the clock. It's inexcusable for us to let a team like DePaul come back from that significant of a deficit. DePaul is likely to be last in the Big East. They're a crappy team, missing key players and have a short bench. So what was our response to that? We decided to match their 8-man rotation? Norris played 44 minutes, Kennedy with 40 Schwieger 37, and Welch 36. Meanwhile, Golden only played 9 minutes against a team that's lacking a big! I know Golden hasn't lived up to expectations this season, but he would have provided some great mismatch opportunities for us. Depaul adjusted well after the first half, made some crazy shots from deep and we just had no response. I'm worried we may not be able to win more than 3 or 4 games in conference unless we make our own adjustments. |

It became a media TO and then they announced no charged timeout. Also, we ended up getting the ball anyway, but a depaul player stepped completely out of bounds on the sideline during a trap situation, and it was missed. |
