LU has done well with it’s newcomers at all 5 positions. Another big man would be appreciated with their last scholarship in dealing with opponents that are big in the middle, for resting our big men, & keeping them healthy.

I think the last addition to the roster will be telling of what the Ramblers intend to do next year. Last year at the beginning of the season we saw a blitzkreg offense and defense...the ball moving up and down the court so quick my neck hurt. and taking the first available shot...we double teamed almost everywhere on the court....and we were pretty darn unsuccessful with that approach. We slowed everything down for awhile..then near the end we kind of benched Golden, and Hutty had been playing mostly very limited minutes...my gut tells me this was the start of this year, last year.
Who we take with our last open roster spot will really give us an indication of style of play for next year. My guess is it will be a mobile forward who can run the floor and as Lady Greybee said last night at a gathering of fanatics we would be going back to "fast break on the Lake" Has the Paul Cohen era has officially come to an end ? No more Oxen Ball Brot.....
Now that Coach V has had another year to get the new kids ready to roll, I think they are going to roll, down hill. Really looking forward to seeing Trey Lewis next year.
