Philip Alston called me last week to thank me for being a season-ticket holder, and before he could finish saying who he was and why he was calling, I said I knew who he was, I was a big fan, and I'm looking forward to the season. I told him I had my work hours changed so I could attend more games, and I'm looking at road trip possibilities.

My goal for this season is .500 in league play. I think we'll get it pretty easily, but there's a decent chance we'll struggle and a small chance we'll challenge for the league title. The MVC was a lot easier to predict and assess.
