Nobody had Jalen Quinn at a plus 6, but good call on Dame at plus 4.

Vlad The Tan Man was only plus 20, with Witherspoon (who I did not think would start based on what they did last season) leading FAU at plus 24 in only 24 minutes on the court.

I think where the plus minus is valuable is picking up statistically on some of the intangibles-- defense, speed, the level of damage from the kind of turnovers a player makes, the real impact of a player's assists, etc.

Well, we had the one run in second half where we cut the lead to 8. FAU called a timeout. Drew then subbed out like 3 players from the lineup that got us back in the game. I believe Quinn and Dame were a part of the comeback lineup. I would think this run was a part of the plus numbers for both. Of course, Drew tinkered with it and we promptly fell back to a 13 point deficit again.

I am a big believer in letting lineups go if they have traction and are playing well, Drew it seems is going by the numbers and making subs to make subs. He’s not reading the situation and flow of the game.

It good to play guys and have them give max effort while in there, but when a group is playing well…ride em!

FAU beat previously unbeaten Liberty by 25 tonight, in a matchup that was getting a lot of attention. Liberty entered tonight with a top 40 KenPom rating, and was receiving votes in the AP poll
