By all accounts, "Vibes" is one of the top defining metrics of 2024. Contrary to data, the vibes are bad about the economy, and "vibes" seemed to have propelled the Detroit Tigers to the playoffs. The Bears started off with great vibes, which turned sour as the season started, and have rebounded. The White Sox had bad vibes from day one. The Cubs finished over .500, but dissatisfaction swirled around the team in fits and starts.

Last year, Loyola was picked 8th to start the season and tied for the regular season title with a 15-3 record. The previous season, the Ramblers were picked in the top echelon in the league, but finished last. At this point, maybe vibes are just as reliable as polls....

This season our 'Blers were picked 5th in the A-10 for 2024-25, with Des Watson on the 1st team and Miles Rubin on the 3rd team. VCU, St. Louis, and St. Joe's have 3 or more players on the top A-10 teams. Dayton and Duquesne are returning tournament teams. George Mason was a 20-win team last year, but has re-tooled with a top transfer. Richmond was co-champ last season.

Where do you see the 'Blers this year?
