Two of your best ball handlers and 3 point shooters out. So now what? . How do we best use the talent we have left on the court. We have played mostly a 5 or 4 man out offense with the occasional high pick and roll. Hoping we can get to the hoop and dish out to the 3. ,With everything staying the same it would seem that we have increased playing time for Edwards, Quinn and Glaskov. At least the issue of getting everyone playing time is less relevant. Or do we give our walk on Reeves some PT....do we switch to a zone on D...Do we do not really have a true post up player ....gonna be interesting. |

That's the million dollar question. Drew has a week and a tune-up game to figure something out before the MTE. Simplest solution is Quinn steps up and takes a leap, but even in the rosiest scenario he can't run the point all game. I'm curious if we use Houinsou as a point forward? Worried about A10 teams pressing us to death though. |

JQ is more than capable for promotion to starting PG spot. Not sure how closely anyone's followed his progress and minutes but his court vision, decision making, explosiveness thru the lane, and finishing has vastly improved. Not great from deep, but better than Moore and not afraid to let one go. AND he hits free throws and important ones. If we need FT's to win a game, should want him on the line. Really he's had one bad game all year, and it was Eastern Michigan. It was a dud and he didn't have it that night, got yanked quickly. All 8 others, been very productive. He's figured it out. Who backs up JQ then..... good question LOL Seifeldin ???? Why not run thru him as a free trial for Canisius on Weds !! Games like yesterday we really need more offensive involvement and production from Rubin and DeLoach. Got none. I'm most concerned with our low post guys. I think we're still fine otherwise. JD will be back sooner than later hopefully. |

Rubin may have had five blocks, but he only had 4 points and one rebound. |
