1. What did you think was going to happen with sports gambling becoming so prevalent and so much money in the game.
2. No way to know,,,a. if there was anything illegal and b. if there was how it went down...the money could have been bet on the spread which would make it look like LU had something to do with it or it could have been any of the players from either team based on over/under for specific stats for a player like points, rebounds etc.
3. Either way never a good look as people will assume, which is what we do now.
4. I am at the point where I would have no problem with taking the money out of college sports by taking it off of TV....

It says he "bet on Loyola," so I'm assuming that means he backed us. If he'd bet Tulsa, our 22 turnovers would raise some eyebrows.

The vibes were so awful that year, nothing would shock me about that squad. It would be interesting to re-watch the game and see anything suspicious on the part of any players or refs.

Line: LUC -7.5
Over/Under: 140.5

The SCORE interviewed the author of the article and he did not mention LU.He did make a point that he thinks these guys target low end programs that dont or cant provide much NIL cash...making the players vulnerable when they see the big boys getting rich.
