This NIL and revenue sharing is a great opportunity for some kids who are not gonna be great pros, if at all.
Think about it. How many great college players never play pro basketball? If you are a kid you can go to a school, get NIL money for 4 years, maybe 5 if it gets approved, and set yourself up really well. Look at Braden Smith at Purdue. Great college guard, but undersized. Is he gonna play professionally? What I did see is he's making 1.8 million. You make close to 2 million dollars and you can make 8 to 10 million for your college career. If you can find real good college players, convince them to stay, compensate them then you can build a team with experience, and continuity that can compete with anyone and for Championships.
Question can you get these kids out of high school or transfer portal off FR year? I bet the two German Kids are going to make more at LU than they were making professionally. Why wouldn't more European pros not come to the US, make that money and then go back to Europe if they are not good enuf for NBA. The two German kids have 4 years left. It would be wild to have them for 4 years.
