SIU fans don't appear to be very confident on their board about our game tomorrow night. |

This game is hard to figure because I don't know how SIU is going to respond to being Marooned in Mattoon (or wherever the heck they were). Objectively, you would think it would benefit the Ramblers, given the Saluki's lack of rest, lack of practice time, and the prospect of yet another long train or bus ride to Chicago on Wednesday. On the other hand, their misadventure might serve as a bonding experience or rallying cry which could propel them to victory. I think the key is the first few minutes of the game. If SIU comes out with a lot of adrenaline, they might build a big enough lead to steal a win. But if Loyola can withstand the initial SIU run I anticipate, then I think the Ramblers will coast to a victory after the Salukis run out of gas. |

I'd be curious to know if the coaches getting to sleep in a hotel and the players having to sleep on a floor added any further rift between the coaches and players that may exist. There's a very large SIU alumni base in Chicago, so if the weather's decent it should draw well. It also appears that this is the MVC Wednesday game of the week on CSN Chicago. |

Marc Silverman (Silvy of Waddle and Silvy fame) is planning to be in attendance tomorrow. It's a good opportunity for us to show off. Maybe get some airplay on ESPN 1000 on Thursday. |

The Vegas line opened with us as favorites by 4.5, but it's down to 3.5 now. |

Turnovers are killing us. Salukis with 8-2 points off turnovers advantage only 15 minutes in. |
