According to the Verbal Commits site Loyola has offered Justin Jamison. He attends juco at Missouri State- West Plains. He is listed on various sites as being between 6'8 and 6'9 and weighing 225-260. The videos show that he definitely an inside player with rebounding skills. There are a number of schools who are showing interest including the Shockers. Jamison graduated from high school in 2009. He has spent the past few years pitching in the Texas Rangers organization. It appears he has left baseball and is trying to resume his basketball career. |

His baseball career fizzled pretty quick, with just one year in the minors after being a 13th round pick, drafted five spots ahead of Matt Carpenter from the St. Louis Cardinals. http://www.baseball-reference.com/minor ... miso001jus |

You have to really admire these older, more mature guys who do something else for one reason or another before playing college basketball. They usually have higher emotional intelligence and a sense of urgency that carries over into their game and their studies. I'm thinking of Loyola's Donyale Bush, Wichita State's Carl Hall, Florida State's Bernard James, and a few others. |

No chance of us getting him. He has offers from Oregon, New Mexico, Pitt, TCU, Texas Tech, Seton Hall and Washington State (among others) |
