For those of you who attended this event, what did you think? This event is what helped my wife and I decide to go to our first game of the season. As a non season ticket holder, we were able to get ourselves and our 4 year old son unlimited pizza, popcorn, cookies, soda, beer, wine, water and tickets to the game for $50!!! I thought that was a really good value. My son alone ate 4 pieces of pizza, a box of popcorn, 1.5 cookies and 2 sprites!!! But in all seriousness it was really nice to see and chat with some old LU faces. I believe that social events like this help build community amongst fans and over time could make a big difference with attnedance. My guess is that this event runs as a net financial loss.... but this was also the largest attendance of the year as well. Was that just a coincidence? Any thoughts on why LU shouldn't hold 3 or 4 of these events every year? |

You should send a message to the ticket office. I know they don't advertise it well, but i'm pretty sure they have a family package. You get tickets, food and drinks and I believe the price is pretty darn reasonable. |
