Indiana State beat Illinois State in Terre Haute, 76-62. I really think we have a shot at beating ISUr at home if we can play like we did tonight.

Wichita State was way up on Drake in Des Moines before calling off the hounds and winning 78-61.

Missouri State and SIU had a dogfight in Springfield, won by 69-63 MSU after trailing most of the game.

So as of now, here's the MVC standings:

WSU 8-0
ISUb 7-1
ISUr 4-4
UNI 4-4
MSU 4-4
Brad 3-4*
LU 3-5
UE 2-5*
DU 2-6
SIU 2-6

* Bradley plays at Evansville tomorrow at 1 p.m.

How massive was that home loss to SIU? We could be tied for third halfway through the conference season.

Well. I feel we just now punched our ticket into the Valley--We may lose a lot more games but I doubt it. It would take a blind man not to see the slow but gradual improvement in this team. We are no one's patsy in the MVC--They know it and we now know it. Just look at what we now have--We have three true scorers--plus Keke who will soon be a fourth. Its getting harder for opponents to guard everybody. And guess what only Thomas is a veteran. We have something going--I can see it and feel it. Milton is getting to be sheer murder out there. A good team must have a guy like him--He now has helpers.

We do need two more parts -- continued development of Osborne--He is coming around and a longer bench. O'Leary MUST make a move-He is needed.
---------We need to get where Nor Iowa is--See how they substituted three at a time--NICE
--But then I remember when we had Blake, Majak and little else--and last year Ben and truly not too much after.--Good kids . all--but......

Looking back a tad--We have been in all our Valley games--now we overtook one. We are learning how to win. Shockers will know they have been i\nb a scrap--We will not lie down for them--as great a team as they are. They could win it all. We are not there yet of course--BUT we have now served notice.

Now then, the crowd was good and will get better--They liked what they saw. I could tell.

GO RAMBLERS !~!

I am curious how Tuesday will go. Doyle has been impressive but he hasn't faced a defender like Cotton yet. That should be a fun matchup to watch

The Pimps helped out a bit. Now Bradley, Evansville and LU are tied for 6th.

I like your chances of finishing ahead of those two.
