In my opinion. Shockers got screwed--Look at their bracket compared to the rest-- I guess Coach Gregg will have to get the boys angry--I hope he does !! GO SHOCKERS !!! |

Brot.....couldnt agree with you more. But if you are who you say you are....you will take Kentucky to the wood shed. Here is hoping the Shockers carry on. |

Brot - I'd take WSU's draw over UVA's in the East! Nova, MSU, IA St, Cincy...don't want to see any of those teams. Although both the East and Midwest are, in my opinion, much tougher than the South or West. The coaching pedigree in the Midwest is pretty amazing. Committee rewarded the power conferences, giving the nod to NC St and Nebraska. Seems like just about all the analysts think SMU and UWGB are the two biggest snubs. I question both Michigan St and L'Ville at 4, but maybe the committee saw both their sides as having the weaker #1s? |

Not that St. Louis will blow through Louisville, but it sucks to see the two power mids on the same side of the bracket. No one wants to see David vs. David. |

Kentucky doesn't worry me as much as others. They may have the best individual talent of any team, but I don't think they're that good of a team as a whole. Shox appear excited at the chance to play them though. The one that got me was L'ville as a 4 seed. Meeting them in the Sweet 16 seems a bit ridiculous but it is what it is. I think we can handle that should we meet up though. We had them on the ropes last year and we can finish them off this year. Gonna be a fun tournament. |

It's a brutal draw, but I agree with Sub that Wichita can handle Kentucky. I wanted to pick them to get to the final game at least, but they really have to run the gauntlet. Kentucky, Louisville, Duke/Michigan... ouch. And that's just to GET to the final four! |

As I said earlier, I was questioning L'Ville at a 4 - and it's as big name for Wichita to go through - but that actually might be generous for them. The only win non-con against tourney teams was UL-Lafayette, with losses to UNC (6) and UK (8). In conference, they lost twice to Memphis (8) and split with UC (5), swept UConn (7). Counting the AAC title game, that's 5 total wins against tourney teams. So while they're defending champs with a great coach, Wichita is probably better off with them as their 4 than they are with SDSU, MSU, or even UCLA... feel free to check my facts, just did a quick run through. |

Michigan State might be the most dangerous 4 seed ever. |

I agree, they're healthy at the right time and just manhandled #2 seeds in back to back days. |

Bruce Pearl, Miles Simon, and (somebody I didn't know) did a 10-minute segment on the ESPN Bracketology show about how and why Kentucky will beat Wichita State in the second round. I guess the close call with Florida was fresh in their minds. I'm not even sure Kentucky can get past Kansas State in St. Louis.... It's pretty easy to do, but I always like it when Bruce Pearl is held up as an ignorant ass-- would love to see WSU do it yet again. |
