I thought Jeremy deserved his own Transfer thread. As Galena Rambler reported elsewhere, Jeremy is listed on Jeff Goodman's ESPN Insider list of transfers. |

I am looking forward to Brot's explanation for Jeremy's transfer, the fifth within a month. |

I'm not 100% up on the academic rule that Milwaukee was just hit for...could all of these transfers potentially hurt our score there and put us at risk of a postseason ban (as opposed to our voluntary ban the last 25-30 years)? |

5 freakin' transfers this year, 4 of them being big men. What the hell is Porter doing? I'm sorry, but this is getting to the point of being inexcusable. I don't care what his contract says. If he doesn't win this year, he should be gone. |

So do we now have to land all three of Berry, Jones, and Thomas??? |

Porter has pretty much secured his excuse for the year. "What was I supposed to do? I had 4 big men leave! It was totally not my fault!" If I had to guess, we're in for a 10-12 win season next year. |

This is ironic and somewhat counter-intuitive, but I think the mass exodus of players might actually help Moser keep his job (for at least one more year). By the time the new AD is hired in May or later, the spring signing period will have come and gone. To replace the transferring players, Moser may have signed as many as 4-5 players in the spring, in addition to the two he signed last fall. If the AD fires Moser, some of the 6-7 2014 recruits may ask for their release, provoking a second round of exits. I don't think the new AD would want to risk this. I think assistant coach Daniyal Robinson may be most at risk. As I understand it, he was responsible for coaching the bigs, and that group departed en masse. If the new AD and/or Moser are looking for a scapegoat, Robinson is their man. |

If I had to guess, we're in for a 10-12 win season next year. He has to go. His culture sucks. I understand that you could lose 1 or 2 due to playing time or off-court issues (drugs, grades, conduct, whatever). But 18 in 3 years??? In 3 calendar years, 3 players had at the least signed a letter of intent (aka a binding contract) to play basketball for Loyola and didn't come. 7 of the 12 players that were on the roster he inherited left. He has now had 8 players who he recruited come and go. It's embarrassing. If we're not in the top 5 of the MVC next year, we have to fire him. This many transfers is an indictment on the type of toxic culture he's been building. |

I'd be interested to see what happens in the fall with the class of 2015. Also, Robinson has been by PM's side for a while, Porter might not want to let him go. |
