Per verbal commits, Coach Moser has offered scholarships to the following:

4/14/2014 - 2014 PF Rasheed Worrell (6-8, 205, 2★) has received an offer from Loyola (IL). - Per Garrett Tucker
4/13/2014 - JUCO PG Jay Wright (6-1, 180, 2★) has received an offer from Loyola (IL). - Per Rival

The poor juco kid will be met with torches and pitchforks cause we need the Villanova coach more than him.

Kidding aside, they seem to be alright players. Both have some decent offers. I still am doubting Porter's ability to a.) beat out some good programs on the recruiting trail (Stephen F. Austin is coming off a tourney win, we barely won 10 games) and b.) develop and coach them instead of making them want to leave the program.

It also seems like we've been recruiting this kid since September. He originally committed to Appalachian St., was released from his LOI, and is now back on the market.

Some of us are blaming PM for our players leaving--Well he, may be the cause--BUT----
Lately kids all over are leaving their teams--Is It always the Coaches ?? Or is it only PM ??

Think on this--Kids can leave--Its PMs fault
OR Kids are run off by PM--

How about if these kids read about what they feel are greener pastures ??

You guys cannot have it just one way. Take Milton for instance--Did Kans. run him off ?? I doubt it--
My take is that it is this year's thing with these players. They see a raft of players jump--Why can't they ??

Now then PM may not be completely innocent here--BUT it seems with us that PM actually is the culprit--all the time.

I say again that I feel both these latest might have felt they were actually NOT good enough-- PM and these players are the only ones who know for sure.

One thing is for sure , our recruits had better be good--darn good--and PM had better win-or he is toast.

I don't have any inside information about why Milton left Kansas, but what I've read leads me to believe that Milton was indeed politely shown the door; see, e.g. http://www.nbadraft.net/forum/kansas-fr ... sfer-craze

As for the recent exodus of players from Loyola, I don't think anybody's suggesting Moser's run them all off. I think the consensus of opinion on Ramblermania (It would be unanimous except for you) is that the players have left because they don't like playing for Moser.

You are the only one claiming poor grades, immaturity, aspirations of greener pastures or a sudden, contagious realization of their athletic inadequacies are the reasons for the transfers.

If I may be permitted a fanciful comparison, Brot. You are like the clueless coroner investigating the Jonestown massacre who sees 900 corpses clutching cups of Kool Aid and concludes they all must of died from complications of diabetes.

GOOD GRIEF SWELLA !! Come down off that high horse of yours or is it a superior throne ??

I think PM is not doing well and I have said so--or do you read only what you want to read--An old Boos of mine used the old bromide--When you look--see. when you hear--listen and when you speak--say something !

Your cheap shots are the best you have ?? Or really maybe you have nothing at all besides cheap sots.

Even the most obtuse person can see that something is wrong within LUC Sports. Let us put my position another way--PM and those players who are leaving ARE NOT very good. None of them. Maybe they will do better elsewhere--I truly hope so. BTW these players may just think that the new AD will sweep PM out, hence they got out early--WHO KNOWS ?

You know Swella, I had a ton of respect for you--but now as they say--fageddaboudit !!! Keep in mind --if you care to--I never got personal--YOU have and that is sad !

GO RAMBLERS

Was it the "clueless coroner" comparison that rankled?

Cuz I could change it to "Inspector Clouseau" and make pretty much the same point:

Gentlemen,
We all follow the same banner here. It's maroon and gold and says RAMBLERS. And it's kind of tattered at the moment.

The question is are we going to have the players we need. I'm sure that Brot and Swella would be willing to join the team. (Although finding short shorts that they would feel comfortable wearing for their uniforms might be a challenge.) Go's Baby Grace appears to be game for the challenge. 08 has just about volunteered to suit up.

We're all on the same team here. We just want to know who is on the team!

Hey guys, chin up. Even though this article is about U of I, it does say that we have an offer out to Zach Norvell, Simeon's rising sophomore that's more than likely way out of our league. Maybe if LU cans PM after next year, we could hire the Simeon coach. It'd be really helpful for us to establish a nice pipeline out of the CPL.
