Being away from Chicago, i've listened to the audio streams and the video streams for our games when i can. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about possibly finding a local station to carry the games now that we are in the MVC and things may be looking up with our recent ability to recruit local talent. I know WGN-AM 720 carries the bulk of Northwestern basketball games. Does anyone know anything about the new leased frequency 88.7 that WGN has, "The Game?" I know Brandmeier is on it in the morning, and it switches to FM sports talk for the duration of the day. Does anyone think it would be possible to form some type of partnership with WGN to broadcast/Stream? |
