I saw Bill Behrns wearing a press pass at the MVC Softball tournament a couple of weeks ago. Is he still helping out with the Athletic Department, or was he just there for support and personal interest? According to the athletics staff page on loyolaramblers.com, the titles in Sports Information have changed a bit, and there's no Sports Information Director position advertised on luc.edu. Does anybody know the responsibilites of the various sports information employees? Just curious in case I might try to arrange an interview with a coach, or privately bring something to their attention. I think we should have heard SOMETHING by now on the progress in finding the new AD-- either an offical update, twitter rumors identifying finalists, etc. Calhoun's resignation announcement was more than two months ago. |

One of the few things that does bother me about LUC and its Athletics--Hoops et al--Is the inordinate length of time it takes to get things announced--see our Hoops schedules for years past--- It is one thing to be careful and not rash--but Cripes !! Two MONTHS !! ---We are too picky---or ---No one of consequence has applied ---Guys of consequence just might be outside our budget I suspect the latter--but as the man said--" I know nothing !! " My gut says we should know in the next day or three !! |
