Looks like he didn't qualify academically. Well, our limited height just got smaller. http://www.loyolaramblers.com/sports/m- ... 14aaa.html |

Ugh. That sucks. Surprised we actually announced it. |

Huge loss for an already thin front court. Rajala is now the only available player on the roster over 6'7". |

Boy does that suck. Is the press release holding out the possibility that he will be eligible in the Spring semester? |

The wording is weird, but I don't think you can transfer back in from a community college for the spring semester and become eligible. Anybody know? Maybe if he doesn't play in the fall? |

Side note: I almost posted this when the roster came out, but the last three people to wear #1 at Loyola are Cully Payne, Cody Johnson, and Marlon Jones. All transferred. |

I'm not sure of the rules but it would stand to reason that he could, in theory, transfer back and play in the spring since he is going the CC route. |

An additional thought...I wonder if Porter is adjusting his offensive game plan (and over all game plan) to account for the absence of height. Clearly he feels that CT can pound it inside despite his size, but will be adapt an up tempo, perimeter game? Will we see Fast Break on the Lake Part 2? |

Moser in the preseason always gives lip service for up tempo, fast break basketball, but come game time he always reverts to Oxen Ball. He's too much of a control freak to let the players run and free lance. |

CT will try is best but won't be able to open up that exterior game. On the defensive end, all teams will have to do is game plan to hammer inside. Our couple "tall" guys will foul out and we'll see opponent scores in the 80's on a regular basis. |
