Thought this was worthy of its own thread. I believe this is Porter's first top-150 national commitment at Loyola. |

This is a great get for us to be able to get a top 150 player is great. Very good job by Porter and the gang. Now we need to start working on getting a big man that is just as great. |

Hunt do you know who else was on him, if we beat out any Valley schools? |

Apparently he had (at least at one time) an offer from Creighton. Looks like LaSalle also. It appears there was interest from B1G schools, but maybe no offers. No Valley schools that I see. |

Huge Get! He's from Palatine, so another Chicagoland area recruit for LU. I know Creighton was heavy on him, and he got some long looks from B1G schools. That gives us another solid option on the outside with Doyle, Turk (for 1 more season), Richardson, and Ingram. Now we need a PG and a PF and we'll be set. |

What little I saw had Creighton and NIU as offers. I hope he ends up on campus even if Porter never coaches him and like the chances of that since he's from the area. |

I know he had some interest from Wisconsin and West Virginia I believe he took an unofficial to Wisconsin. |

I'm pretty sure Bradley was recruiting him decently hard as well. I think he might have gotten a couple of offers from B1G schools if he waited a little longer, but I don't think he would've been a star in that conference or even have gotten the opportunity for playing time that LU could give him. From what I've seen on video and scouting reports I've read, he a more complete player than Turk (better defensively, creating his own shot, shooting inside the arc, and driving to the bucket) and still about as deadly from 3 range as Turk. I'm pumped that PM was able to land a really solid guy that we targeted from the get-go and someone who I think has the potential to blossom as a player (with or without Porter). Welcome to Loyola Roosevelt!! |

This is a good get. Just one question...what were the reasons behind his transfers? Should we be worried of a Payne situation? |
