I'm not a big fan of these types of practice. Why do you need to get up at 5:30 in the morning? What does any of what they are doing going to make them better players. In this day in age these guys should always be in shape so there shouldn't be a need for this type of conditioning building

I agree. If the guys are not in shape already, they are really behind the eight ball. I guess there is some benefit to the team building aspect of these types of practices. Looks like marketing and PR BS to me.

Well, if it is a PR move, I am all for it--We need more stuff such as that. Actually though , get real Guys--Like the Jewish MaMa says about her chicken soup, "IT CAN'T HOIT "" !!!!~

If a fraternity did this, it would be called hazing, and it would be placed under double secret probation or lose its charter.

I get some of the challenges that go with physical and mental exertion. But I guess my litmus test is to ask if at the end of the workout (bootcamp), how much better did we get at basketball?
