We have two scrimmages this year - and they aren't with St. Xavier!

Chicago State at Loyola - Nov. 1
Loyola vs Green Bay in MKE - Nov. 8

That's probably the best news we could have received about the schedule.

But we couldn't get either of these 2 teams to play us instead of Rockhurst and McKendree? I think I'd even rather have Chicago St. over UTSA just for the fact that it gives us moral high ground to complain about how NU and DPU don't play us.

Other than seeing Doyle stand on the sidelines it was pretty good. We also had I think three guys out sick. So we didn't get to see Donte, Montel James, or Knuth. Turk was sick the day before and wasn't 100%.

Of the newcomers we got to see, Ben Richardson was pretty impressive. He's got good awareness and a good shot.

Crisman and London were really talkative, and you can tell they are leaders and want to win as seniors.

Even Doyle was more talkative than I'd seen him before. He did some coaching from the sidelines, showing guys where they're supposed to be. That was cool to see, except obviously we want him to be healthy.

The usual suspects were there. Maybe 20 people?

Julius is from Finland. Looks like he's adjusting. Needs to get in shape and get stronger.

Now there's an encouraging scouting report for the only guy we've got over 6'7"...

I was gonna say: isn't this the same scouting report for Jeremy King, Matt O'Leary, and Cody Johnson?
