@LUPhoenixSports: Coach Porter says Milton Doyle tore his labrum. Could possibly have surgery. Right now it's on a wait and see basis. #MVC

That is all we need is an injury to Milton. This season could be a very rough one.

Best wishes to Milton for a full recovery. That's tough for him, coming into a season where he had so much to build on.

The one saving grace for the season. So, are we at even odds now for Moser being fired after the year?

First off, what a shame. Awful news for Milton. I totally feel for him especially because he already burned his redshirt year.

The odds PM doesn't get fired are like 20-1 now.

Seriously cue the music:

This is such an odd injury for a basketball player. Does anyone have an idea on how long recovery time is?

This website says it usually takes 3-5 months after surgery to return to full activity.

The muckracker in me wants to know whether Milton may have been injured at basketball boot camp.

4-6 months with surgery.

So his season could basically be over
I am also curious on how he tore it.

Basically. It's a common injury in baseball pitchers, and it shuts them down for the season. It's also not a typical wear-and-tear injury like the tendon that requires Tommy John surgery. It could be just one awkward shot/hard foul or maybe he fell on it in boot camp.

In baseball it can basically end careers I knew that but wasn't sure how it would happen in a basketball environment
