I am in the area and was thinking about heading to the game. Tickets are cheap on Stubhub. Any other Rambler fans on here going to check it out? |

I've been to Breslin twice, once for games against Eastern Michigan and Howard on consecutive nights in 1999, and once playing MSU in 2002. It's an eye-opening, big time college basketball environment-- much better than Illinois, Wisconsin, Purdue, or Ohio State. The student section is one of the best I've seen anywhere (although I haven't seen a game at Duke), and the band is loud and excellent. Even back in 1999 they had a really elaborate, state-of-the-art video broadcasting operation with fantastic replay services that were way ahead of their time. Seeing a game there at least once is highly recommended just for getting a picture of what it's possible to aspire to, especially when classes are still in session and the student section is rocking. |

I was toying with the idea of going, but with the time change it's a little too hard for me to leave early enough to get there in time. Wish it was a 2.5 hour drive instead of 3.5. Hope you have a great time if you go! |
