Rather than create a new thread for each potential target, I figured I'd do one thread.

Let's start it with Dominic Woodson from Tennessee. He's a BIG boy (6'10, 275) and a former 4 star recruit. He wants to have a bigger role. Porter needs to reach out to him and give him the biggest role possible.

Could you imagine a high low with Milt and this guy?

Downside: this would be his 3rd school.

Are we working on next year's schedule yet?

Here's another big boy: Jamaree Strickland. 6'10". 265.

Rumor is that he didn't buy into the system and the coach forces him out (sound familiar?)

I don't mind paying $15 for a GA ticket if we're playing DePaul, St. Louis, Northwestern, or any MVC opponent. I don't mind it if it's against any former Horizon League foe, or our longtime regular non-con opponents-- Western Michigan, etc. But you can get into any game at UIC, Illinois State, and a lot of other places for $7 or less.

C'mon. Let's re-think this thing. We need a fanbase more than we need a revenue stream. Fanbase helps with recruiting and home court advantage.

Wow this thread went from transfer news to schedule to attendance in a page.

As for the 2 guys Go mentioned, ideally they could help. Both address a need, but they both have some question marks probably with off-the-court issues. I'm not saying that they don't turn out to be a Godsend to the program like Doyle; I'm just saying that there are plenty more Devin Hills than Doyles. I hope PM shows some signs of maturity as a coach and passes on them if he gets a feeling they'll be more trouble than they're worth on the court. Plus, how much competition will we have with other mid-majors or even Power 5 schools.

Of note, neither have any real connection to us or the area, although PM does spend some time recruiting Texas. My bet is the Tennessee kid goes to Cal to play for his old coach.
