Checking out the post game highlights and next to the video was a tweet from Jordan Hicks from France. Would love to know how he is doing. Does anyone know of other LU guys playing overseas???
Side issues Petersons 21 points came in 22 minutes. This is really what we needed another outside scorer. I am feeling better about how we might do this year. Also past issues of guys wearing out do not seem to be an issue this year as we are playing 9 guys 15 minutes or better.

Nate - a few others off hand. Blake Schilb plays in Paris right now. Tracy Robinson is playing in Baghdad. Darrin Williams is in Italy. Believe Geoff McCammon is playing in France. And for coaching...Dave Gale is on the staff for the Toronto Raptors, JR Blount is an assistant at Drake.

Before your time, 08, but Dominic Okon is Director of Basketball Operations at Wichita State. DaJuan Gouard is head coach at Danville Community College.

Former coaches: Larry Farmer is an assistant at Western Michigan, Jim Whitesell is at St. John's, and Ken Burmeister is head coach at Incarnate Word. Will Rey is Athletics Director and head coach at Northridge Prep in Niles. Scott Spinneli is an assistant at Maryland, Jason Gardner is head coach at IUPUI, Patrick Baldwin and Armon Gates are assistants at Northwestern. Doug Bruno, obviously, has been a legendary head coach for the DePaul women's team since 1988, where he's got over 500 career head coaching wins and is working on 11 consecutive years of NCAA tournament appearances.

Edit: Those are some high honors for former players and coaches.

And what produces such honors for former Loyola players and coaches?

Hint: It begins with a "C" and rhymes with "Vulture".

JCT,

NOW I get your "honor" edit.

Wow. I must be getting Alzheimer's. I changed it from "honor" to "culture" in the other thread. Still can't figure out where that came from....

Forgot to mention DaJuan - saw him at the Tulane game and sounds like he's doing great. Said he's got a pretty good team this year.

You also might have recognized a familiar face on the Eastern Michigan sidelines celebrating their upset over Michigan: that was Kevin Mondro, Whitesell's former top assisstant. I think another former Whitesell assistant is at Lewis, though I'm not quite sure who.

Planek is at Lewis too. I think you're thinking of Adam DeMong, but I didn't look it up.

I wonder what kind of culture Lewis athletics has under Planek?
