According to Merriam-Webster, the Word of the Year for 2014 is: CULTURE. http://www.merriam-webster.com/info/201 ... e-year.htm No surprise here. A search for "culture" on Ramblermania yields 63 hits. search.php?keywords=culture&terms=all&author=&sc=1&sf=all&sk=t&sd=d&sr=posts&st=0&ch=300&t=0&submit=Search Personally, I've found myself using "culture" more and more frequently in my everyday conversations with my dog Walter, e.g. : "Walter, I know I'm trying to create a culture of neighborliness and inclusion around here, but humping Judy's leg is not what I had in mind." To honor 2014's Word of the Year, I think everybody should use the word "culture" in their posts today. |
