1. Christian Thomas- No rebounds
2. Jeff White- No assists
3. Knuth- leading scorer only gets one field goal
4. No one over 25 minutes
Nice win but seemed like bizarro world

Defense generally wins--OK by me so long as it does NOT turn into OXENBALL !!!

Thomas sat the last 15 minutes of the second half for mouthing off to the coach.
It says something about the depth of the team when the subs can build the lead from 9 to 22.
Rajala gave a great 5-7 minutes in the first half when Thomas and James had two fouls each.
Doyle and Crisman also sat with two.
Richardson had three three pointers in the first half.
The bench had 19 of the 28 first half points.
Knute was awesome off the bench and
had 13 of 15 from the line. Turk led the starters with seven, Doyle had five, James five, Crisman had four and Thomas two. Peterson eight off the bench, Rajala two, Ingram three, White two, Richardson nine.
There was a nice Loyola contingent there.
The Orleans is a nice hotel and is connected to the arena.
It has a free shuttle to the strip.
Nice that Loyola got into this tourney.
Next year three games at the Great Alaska Shootout the week of thanksgiving.
Creighton to the Norville the first week of December and the following week at DePaul
In the start of a two year home and home.

Here's one more: over the past three games we have gotten about 80% of the rebounds on our defensive end. That is very, very good, and a huge improvement. Says a lot about the effort and commitment to boxing out.

Also, here's the list of the teams that we've held to their lowest point total on the year:

Texas Tech
Southern Utah
Jackson State
UTSA

We kept Texas Tech off the free throw line (we had 12 more fts), we outrebounded them (by 10!), and we controlled the tempo. That was the recipe for a win. Not elegant, but we won.

Another interesting stat on the season is that we've made more FT's (173) than our opponents have attempted (160). That's usually a pretty good indicator of W's.
