I heard from a reliable source that Alumni Relations is assessing interest in a bus trip package.
That said, interest will be as high as that for a presidential candidate who finishes fourth in the New Hampshire primary.
December joy has turned to January gloom. It has been a disaster for whatever reasons. And ISU did look very quick at the guard position against Northern Iowa.
A win Saturday will be a 50/50 proposition and this is our home game.

Richard Nixon in 64 (nothing this year, but potential down the road)....or Jesse Jackson in the 80's (just never going to happen)?

Porter has done a good job of masking weaknesses and the team is still playing hard. However, there are nagging injuries to the key position we cannot afford it at guard. ISU is very quick in the backcourt. It took a zone to halt them and then Evansville won on a last second three. Also this is part of the season where you begin to hit a wall especially the freshmen. There are only so many rah, rah speeches. Normally an optimist, I see us as a 7th seed which means Thursday.

Loyola's Alumni Relations Department and Loyola Athletics have teamed up to offer a great men's basketball road trip package. On Saturday February 21st, 2015, we will travel by coach bus to Normal, Illinois to see our Ramblers take on the Illinois State University Redbirds. Our bus will leave from Lake Shore Campus at 2pm and will return to Lake Shore following the game. Game tipoff is at 7 pm.

The price for this package -- game ticket and round trip bus fare-- is a very reasonable $20. We have a capacity of 30 people for this trip.

This trip is going to be a lot of fun! Join us and support our team in this important Missouri Valley contest.
