When Devon was a freshman I so thought this guy was a one-trick-pony. He could shoot the 3 but gave up as many points as he scored by really bad man to man defense. He couldnt dribble or go to the basket. I am guessing most of his games were negatives. However to his credit his defense has really improved, his turnovers are way down, he is starting to get some hoops going to the basket and he his learning to catch and shoot his 3 with a really quick release. So kuddos to the TUrkster and the staff. Wish we could have seen he same improvement from his Texas running buddy Jeremy King. Still wonder what happened there. |

I think there are a lot of similarities to Majak Kou. The difference is that Majak made a big jump in his Sophomore year while Turk has waited until his Junior year. The obvious difference is that Turk shoots the 3 much better than Majak. I hope he keeps it up. |

Gotta tell ya !! Big difference is that Devon gets right into the weeds--syicks himself right in the driver's face--takes charge after charge ! AND when have we ever seen him drive to the basket as he has done this year. Neat !! |
