John and others could be better than I am on what follows BUT some thoughts re this season and the team. --Our little people are being extremely well coached -- -------We are woefully short--out rebounded constantly but still win --Our guys have bought in for sure --The hard part--DEFENSE--These guys are like a swarm of bees--not afraid to stick their bodies in--see Turk --Our injuries have hurt us but not killed us. Good part is, one is back--EARL--The other two shortly I trust --A negative--Spotty freebie shooting--Have cost us a game or three--Chicken or feathers here --Our non-conference schedule has proven to be just right for this bunch--except the non-Di1 games. -------It did help our depth--which we had but were not sure of--Now we are--It has come through nicely in the absence of M and C --Our team is NOT boring as so many in past years have been--I for one, really love this bunch-- --Watch the bench--Coaches and bench guys totally into it--ALL the time. --Just look at what we have done and where we are now that M and C are close to returning --The immediate future is looking bright--Next year will be terrific- ---------When was the last time I could have said this ?? Back in the day--Big Al and the boys. --The big thing is--WE have a good and Long bench-- I do believe the Valley is in for a huge awakening--Our RAMBLERS are on the way !! ( The Bigs are coming--Too bad Joe and Christain will not be apart of it-- Sorry for "Rambling" on--BUT it is what I am feeling |

Brot-- I started doing the Indiana State preview before you posted this, and some of your observations are in the preview with some stats to support your assessments. |
