The women's team beat Northern Iowa 64-60 on Friday night to grab a share of a first-place tie in the league at 6-2. One of the other first place teams is Drake, who plays at Gentile Arena on Sunday at 2 p.m. It would be nice if we could get a decent crowd there to root on a 1st place team and hopefully put together some momentum for the women to get a better seeding for the tournament.

A win over Drake would likely put us in a three-way tie with Northern Iowa (they play a bad Bradley team in Peoria on Sunday) and Missouri State, who is beating Wichita State today.

Tough loss today. I like the way the team plays though.
