It appears Loyola softball coach Missy Beseres Dow might be following the advice of Kenny Rogers. It has been announced that she is heading to Madison to be the pitching coach for former Loyola head coach Yvette Healy at the University of Wisconsin.

This switch follows the graduation of Brittany Gardner who was Pitcher of the Year in both the Horizon League (2013) and the MVC (2014). In the 2014 season Gardner pitched 221 of the team's 369 innings (60%), had 19 of the team's 25 wins with an era of 2.78. The two returning pitchers for 2015 combined for the other six wins and had earned run averages of 4.49 and 10.76.
