The Cubs really stunk up the joint against the Marlins. But the fish have always had the Cubs' number. I guess the era of the Cubs being a playoff contender is officially over, with the likely departure of Maddon, Arietta, etc. and the possible departure next year of Theo Epstein.

The White Sox look like they're primed to be an exciting team next season.

Oakland A's manager Bob Melvin was one year ahead of me at Menlo-Atherton High School in Menlo Park, CA, so I've kind of made the A's my 2nd favorite team after the Cubs. And now the Houston Astros (always one of my LEAST favorite teams in either league, lately moreso with their WS cheating) are one win away from dumping the A's.

Can't stand the Yankees. Don't like the Rays. On the NL side, I hate the Braves, have grown to dislike my childhood team the Dodgers, and I feel like the Marlins need to experience a lot more heartache before winning another postseason series. (Did you know the Marlins are 7-0 in post season series, including 2 World Championships despite only existing for 28 years?)

Thoughts?
