Staying with the winning formula that combines sex, politics and tubular-shaped vegetables, Kintner's next film is "Crooked Celery Clinchin' ", with Bill playing the role of Fondled Rump.

Cigarboy cops to having cybersex using state computer; will pay $1000 fine but won't resign.

Be sure to read Cigarboy's statement inserted in the article. It is worthy of Jimmy Swaggert or Jim Bakker. If Cigarboy gets impeached he has a future in televangelism.

That "confession" is completely ludicrous. He can do something like that (which is hypocritical considering all the crap he has said in the past) and then all is well because Jesus forgives him. It's a non-apology apology. It's a cop out and it makes me angry.

Must reread the linked article. A lot of new and more descriptive detail has been added.

It will be interesting, to say the least, to watch the impeachment process unfold. I don't think CB has very many allies; the Republican governor Ricketts ( brother of the Cubs prez/ another bro went to Loyola) called for him to resign today. CB has also alienated many fellow Senators of both parties by comparing them to monkeys. But one thing I learned about CB from sparring with him on Ramblermania is that he has very thick skin and never doubts the righteousness of his causes.

A couple things about his statement: I wonder if it's true that the cybersex came just before his wife's diagnosis. Seems convenient in minimizing his moral culpability. Second, there MUST be an incriminating video of CB somewhere; that would be the only leverage a blackmailer would have. There is software available to record a Skype video call, and other software to convert the recorded video to GIFs. According to CB, he was sent a short gif by the blackmailer which he immediately deleted. This must have been the blackmailer's way of proving she had the goods on him, without giving away the whole story. So what probably happened was not CB videoing himself, but the woman he was Skyping with surreptitiously recording the video call, or at least CB's end of it.

Another question I have is how the state police were able to prepare a transcript of the Skype conversations between CB and his "telemour" without having the video?
Obviously, they have the tape, the unanswered question is how they acquired it.

On edit: Apparently, they communicated by typing, and her text was translated by software from French. So it may be that the State Police were able to recover the text from CB's computer but not the pictures. Don't know for sure.

This raises another question: How was Cigarboy able to pleasure himself while typing, even if he wasn't using a corncob?

Kintner’s legislative career has often veered into buffoonery. Now it’s taken a detour of a sordid nature. His continued presence in the Legislature pollutes the chamber.

From an editorial calling for Cigarboy to resign.

There's a livestream of the hearing going on right now on CigarBoy's possible crime. CB declined to testify. The floor is open for comments from citizens now. Should be interesting.
