Stanford advances over Erskine with a sweep. Not at all unexpected. They'll face BYU for the fourth time this year in the semifinals on Thursday. Penn State beats Lewis 3 sets to 1. This is the result I was hoping for...now I'm not so sure. |

I'm pretty confident of a win over Penn State. I watched the Penn State game at Loyola, and although Penn State won a set against the Ramblers, it was only a matter of Loyola turning it on when needed. The bigger worry for me is if Stanford beats BYU in the other semifinal. |

I'm not 100% sure but I think I'm in Section 204, first row. I'll be attending with the wife and Grace. I figure I should introduce her to LU sports with a good team. |

I attended both matches last night. The results turned out as I expected although I was kind of rooting for Lewis. Penn State looks very strong. Loyola will need to bring their best blocking effort to get as many good touches as possible. Stanford looks scary good and not just their hitting, they get to almost every ball on defense and have good control doing so. I will be in 108 second to last row. 3-6. Granted I don't think I've met most of you guys. Asian guy with glasses (insert joke here) if you're in the area. |

Last time there were more than 2,000 people at Gentile for a game (Wichita State), Bruno's was absolutely packed afterward. Couldn't even get in. Someone save me a little standing room, please. |
