We're just under a week into the signing period and we still have 3 open spots with 9-10 scholarship players available next year (dependent on Smith's health). With that in mind I was just wondering in the past have we ever had this many spots open late in the recruiting cycle? I know Tyson and Julius were both late additions but having 3 open scholarships seems somewhat unusual.

Well Blur it is also sad !! I wonder if the Swoopes affair has had an effect . We should have had these spots filled by now--I am pessimistic for sure.
