More positive tests on the DePaul teams. Now Seton Hall and Vilanova game postponed. They're up to 7 games either cancelled or postponed.

Honestly, this is the best thing that could happen for their coach (granted everyone ends up being okay). It’s also probably the best thing for us too.

Depaul won’t play a non-conference schedule and avoid the possibility of embarrassing losses. If, and win, they tank again and land near the bottom of their conference, coach can say “the Big East schedule is loaded and demanding, and without the ability to prepare for it because our team was hit so severely by COVID, we were unable to build any team momentum.” It probably buys him another year.

If DePaul tanked their season and we run the table, it might have been pretty enticing for them to try and get a Final Four Coach with 4 straight winning seasons and a local recruiting presence. If DePaul fired Dave, and they wanted to try to keep their outstanding recruiting class, nobody would be in a better position retain everyone than Porter.

I want Porter to stay, but if he does leave, I would literally want him to go anywhere but THERE.

Two more DePaul games postposed/cancelled - they haven't played yet - and the number of games cancelled/postponed is now 10.

Man, that sucks.

What is the reason for their long delay? Did their team just get hit in multiple waives, as opposed to our entire team going down at the same time??
