Tired legs and poor execution is a bad recipe to win with. Learn from it, and take it out on Valpo.

Porter did not use our depth to the teams advantage, then coached horrible down the stretch. I put this loss on him.

Big play was that Krutwig turnover where he got trapped and threw it downcourt to the Drake player.

Yep, that was the big play that shifted the tide of game. Obviously, not a good decision or subsequent execution. Drake is a good team and they played with more desperation and poise down the stretch. Kudos to them. I had no problem with how the game was officiated. I'm hoping we can match up again in St. Louis to settle the score and get a few W's behind us going into the tournament. The Defense remains stout, and no reason to think that the offense won't regain better execution. Unless I'm wrong on the tiebreaker, only thing that stands between us and a conference championship are three home games. Let's get it done.

Go read the Drake message board.

I expected more from them. That's on me.

Weird KenPom results..... Offensive efficiency drops from 26 or 28 (can't remember exactly what it was) to 38. But the defensive efficiency went from 5th to #1...... End result, we're still at #10.

Drake moves from #63 to #59.

I'm curious to see the AP poll tomorrow. We won an away game against a Q1 school last night by a large margin. I think that has larger implications than a 1 point OT loss. I hope we remain ranked. I don't mind 25th place.

Looking on the bright side: we're done playing on the road. We went 7-2 and it included 6 games against the other top teams. I think any of us would've taken that at the start of the year.

That series definitely looks much better for us than it does Drake.

It is interesting how the schedule played out this year. The idea of playing back to back against the same team, was supposed to level out by still playing half of them at home. But almost all of our road games ended up being against the top half of the conference. Made for tougher games, but also helped our metrics.

I can’t imagine our guys/coaches first instinct after winning to go to half court and start chirping at the other team. Enjoy the win but stay on your side. Coulda gotten ugly with a normal handshake line.

Glad this happened now though, and I was really impressed with Norris and Kennedy late. That’ll pay dividends down the line.

If we win out we’re guaranteed a share of first. Drakes got 5 left including a series at Bradley and home against Evansville... I really feel like Evansville can steal one with their pace of play, but we’ll see.
