I could be wrong but I thought he is also on the short list at BC for their head coaching job. I saw somewhere that his wife is an assistant AD and so that may also help his chances too.

-I imagine the local high school coaches at big programs would respond incredibly favorably to the hire

I think he would jump at the chance for the step up in class in his home town

I love PM and hope he is a lifer....but I spend more time worrying about someone grabbing Steve Watson.....almost all his ties are not Chicago but further East.

Only so much talking we can do about the tourney before we know our seeding, opponent, etc. Think it is OK if we have a topic dedicated to a pretty important topic (national pundits are talking about it, after all).

All we need now is to have ramblermgr start posting updates about how our 2023-24 nonconference schedule is shaping up and, combined with this thread, my head will explode!
