#20 Butler played at Loyola on Jan. 21, 2010, when they were 15-4. They won 48-47, when we had three shots on the basket that didn't fall at the buzzer. They went on to win 18 more games in a row after that (a 25-game winning streak) before losing to Duke 61-59 in the national title game.

The following year, they were our first conference game on December 1, 2010, and they beat us 65-63. Their win against us raised their record to 4-2 on the season (they'd lost their first game at Louisville, and were coming off a home loss to Evansville), so they were unranked at the time.

So we lost our two home games to Butler in their national runner up years by a combined three points.

Wasn't Kansas State #4 when we played them a few years back?

Not sure, but I know they were ranked at the time (early in the season). I went to the game and was thoroughly unimpressed with them.

As I recall, they quickly fell out of the rankings.

They were #5 at the time.

Their win against us made them 9-1, but they lost their next two games against Florida and UNLV. They finished the year 23-11, losing to Wisconsin in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

Izzo is the best. MSU has scheduled 2 home-and-homes with us in the last 15 years. Have we even played another B1G team in that time frame?

I thought it was a 2 for 1 in the early 2000's and us playing at their place last year. They've only played in our place once.

As for B1G teams. We had a 3 for 1 with Purdue and we played at Illinois. I think that's it for B1G
