The highly creative name chosen for the dorm, built in 1955, was Loyola Hall.

A bit of a random question but I was curious after I watched the movie. Is there a reason that the retired jersey numbers/names of players aren’t hanging somewhere in the rafters? I think it’s such a cool tradition at other places, and just wondering if there’s a rhyme or reason as to why Gentile doesn’t have that (unless I’m blind and simply missed it).

They used to be on the wall behind the student section, but I noticed last game that they were gone.

Attended the Loyola Project last night...was well done. I thought Ronnie Miller stole the show in the movie. The whole LU team was there...got a chance to see the Schwieger the Younger, Saint Thomas and Ty Johnson hanging out together after the event with their parents....I think we are going to enjoy next year.seem like super nice energetic kids.
Got a Harkness shirt for my brother and while waiting in line noticed that Ajax Tillman was in the Hall of Fame. "Ajax Tillman wipes the boards clean".

Prediction: With this on his resume, Lucas will win the prestigious Senior CLASS Award:

https://loyolaramblers.com/news/2022/2/ ... award.aspx

But he needs your vote to win:

https://www.seniorclassaward.com/vote

(Note to JCT or ahunte: Maybe you can pin a separate thread to the top of the board about voting for Lucas for the Senior Class Award.)

Edit: Voting is conducted according to The Richard J. Daley Model; i.e., vote as early and often as you like. You don't need no stinking Republican i.d. either.

It took me about a dozen votes to increase Lucas' percentage by .1. The catch is that the more times you vote the harder the reCaptcha problems become to prove you're not a robot. I had to solve a differential equation to cast vote # 40.

For those of you that are looking for a unique opportunity to see the film and interact with some of the stars, I'm hosting a screening this Thursday evening at Lucas Williamson's elementary school. Steve Watson will be facilitating a conversation with Lucas and Jack Egan (63 point guard) after the film. Also hosting a happy hour at Pippen's to follow. Hope to see some of you there. The information on the evening and link to registration is below. Thanks!
