I'm surprised by this one.

Well that’s a bummer, this is the dark side of the portal. Wish him well and can find a spot where he gets a lot of playing time since I don’t think it was going to happen here.

Opens another spot, so like most of us have been clamoring for, this opens up for two big men and two wings that hopefully can hit 3s at a good clip. Interesting times.

I guess it makes sense with Norris and Kennedy here for another two years (hopefully). Ty wouldn't have had a crack at a starting spot until his senior year.

Still hurts though, I think he's going to be a pretty good player.

If this is true, it does not surprise me. When Coach Valentine took out the starters at the end of the Ohio State game I noticed that Mr. Johnson remained firmly on the bench. I thought this was a sign that there might be some issue there.

Dang. This one kind of sucks. I think TY is going to be a really good player. It's rare when you have a PG play the level of defense he does. I also think he has a great ability to drive to the hoop--just needed to figure out how to finish. Hopefully we can use the newly opened scholarship spot for a talented PG because now Braden doesn't really have backup (other than true freshmen).
