On a serious note, I wonder what the chances are that either Northwestern coaches Erin Virtue or Kevin Moore would return to take the reins.
Virtue spent a season as an assistant for Loyola women's in 2006. Moore was an assistant and associate head coach for two seasons under Chris Muscat.

The MVC is a pretty good conference for women's volleyball. I thought we were moving in the right direction, but this past season was crazy bad. I haven't seen a team perform that poorly against expectations for a long time, so something must have happened. It's really embarrassing to have so many of our teams expected to be very good but performing terribly (men's soccer, women's volleyball, etc.) I understand where we are with women's basketball, but to have men's soccer picked first and do so horribly with all the talent and experience on that team was very frustrating. We need to fix it, because bad and broken programs tend to infect others.
