Re: A Donut with no beef
Agreed. It seems like the coaching staff has been talking to everyone who enters the transfer portal, but I'd like to see them really target a center. I don't think Welch and Hutson will cut it sharing minutes at the 5 next season.

Re: Recruiting Class of 2022
I'm super curious to see what Damezi and Ben bring to the table. Damezi is a very unusual case. Next year will be his 5th year in college. In his two years at Loyola, he probably played a total of 10-15 minutes. Maybe he peaked in high school, but I'm very curious to see how he'll perform.

Makes sense. Analytically we were taking good shots, just couldn’t get the damn lid off the basket. Brutal layup and FT misses.
Feel awful for Lucas. Does anybody know where the NCAA posts the post game interviews?
Here you go sir ...

Re: Evansville Preview and Game Thread -- 2-23-2022
Thanks for the awesome preview JCT. I'm glad I'm going to this game tomorrow, it will be nice to celebrate these students and what they've meant to the program. I also hope to not see any of the starters play over 30 minutes. It would be unnecessary, given the strenuous schedule and the gravity of ...

They're playing very well, and we're not. Schweiger isn't hitting his 3's, so he needs to stop taking so many.

Re: Dan Muller
With everyone bringing up Matt Gordon, it makes me think of Tony Stubblefield. He said he stayed at Oregon for years despite offers to be a head coach, one reason being that the pay was higher as an assistant at a high major school compared to a head coach at a low or mid major school. It may ...

Re: Missouri State Preview and Game Thread -- 2-6-2022
Very good game on our end, especially that second half. Going forward, I think Welch should be the backup center for Knight. I feel better about the team after this game. Let's hope we can pull off a pair of road wins against valpo and Bradley. UNI on the road will be tough, and I won't lose hope if ...

Re: Illinois State Preview and Game Thread -- 2-2-2022
goramblers2011, I was thinking the exact same thing. Although we don't have any bad conference losses, we don't have any good conference wins. I think if we can beat MO state on Sunday, we'll be redeemed for our loss against them.
