Re: Where do we go from here?
Right. If we're going to be conference tourney or bust every year, we were way better off staying in the MVC.

Re: Where do we go from here?
His track record of coaching and getting teams ready for a MTE or conference play is flat out bad. He really has not done much to inspire much confidence in his ability to sustain any type of long term stability or viability of the program and the lack of forward momentum, waning enthusiasm by ...

Re: Where do we go from here?
NO, the AD, most likely - will blame injuries. Ramblermaniacs, this season is "Loyola's culture". Our team winning basketball games these past seven of nine years is an anomaly. LU is not a "fire that guy" type of institution. During the 90s, I have been the only student fan at home games. Loyola ...

Re: Where do we go from here?
This season has tanked Drew's winning percentage. It's still one of the best in team history. 6th in team history. Porter, Sullivan and Valentine are 4, 5 and 6th. Valentine is just ahead of Ireland. Historically, he is one of our best coaches. It is a mistake to discount his first year following ...

Re: Saint Louis Preview and Game Thread -- 2/13/2026
Not surprised about Chuck Love. His dad seems like a nightmare, former Nebraska women's coach who got fired for sleeping with a player.
In all likelihood, after a season like this we should expect everyone to transfer out. I really don't see any reason to keep Drew around, I definitely don't trust ...

Re: Saint Louis Preview and Game Thread -- 2/13/2026
Just told my game mates I'm bringing with tonight that we haven't hosted an elite squad like this in what's been like an eternity. Nevada 2018 maybe the last time if that counts? Then the old Wichita State and Butler games....

Re: Where do we go from here?
Hard to tell if that statement from Watson is an actual vote of confidence or the dreaded "vote of confidence."

Re: Fire Moser chants
OU was never a good fit
Agree with not a good fit, and basketball school duly noted. I think his destiny was more of a Big East. Sure, he has stints at public programs but having spent substantial time with Benet/Creighton, SLU and Loyola, a landing spot in a Big East (like) conf carries a bit ...

Re: Saint Joseph's Preview and Game Thread -- 1/27/2026
Yeah I think we need to move on from Drew. The performance has certainly been bad enough to warrant it, and he just seems completely out of his depth -- the only argument for keeping him around would be to avoid starting back over from the ground up, but... I think it's a pretty solid bet there is a ...
