Some other interesting stuff after cruising the MVC site
SIU beat Murry St. and Ill. St lost by 10 to Murry St.
SIU is playing back to back against North Dakota....I guess getting ready for the Valley experience.?
SIU is playing Duquesne ,,,two days b4 we do....
Missouri St. still has not played a game and Springfield Mo is a hot covid mess

So no COVID issues but they are canceling because of injuries and....just not wanting to play? I don't get it. Should be forfeits.

If they were sitting at 5-0, would they be taking their ball and going home? Doubt it.

Butler might give Depaul some competition at the bottom of the Big East this year. That’s a shame.

What a pleasure to watch two former Loyola assistants from Loyola's Final Four run lead Southern Illinois to a 76-73 win over Butler at Hinkle Fieldhouse. Just wanted to type out that sentence to post on the Internets machine.

On the other side of the equation, SIU looks pretty good. Domask and Jones have beefed up and their footwork has improved.
