Well, since no one wishes to comment. I had best do it myself !! I remember back in the day , JacK Brickhouse used to say . " If you have something good to show, people WILL come" or something to that effect. Well Watson had best start selling MILTON and the boys--starting with the Students with a full time blitz. Then move to the MEDIA--TV and Radio mostly.( The print media is almost dead so forget them for a while.--They will wake up and follow as they mostly do lately ) This blitz should focus on upcoming BEARS' game If we do a decent job in Wichita, it will work !! This team is doing its part--Watson and his people should do theirs !! |

Brot Ill reply! Milton is the best player I have seen in a Rambler's uniform since my time at LUC (08-12). Christian Thomas gives him a run for his money, but Milts play style and overall impact on the program gives him the nod for me. As far as the best player in Chicago I have to agree. Dikembe Dixon at UIC would have been up there as well if it was not for his unfortunate knee injury. Chicago State doesnt have a horse in this race and DePewl best simply dont compare with Dikembe or Milt. Northwestern isnt a Chicago school (dont tell Jesse) so they dont get to participate. |

I'd have to agree Milt is the best player I've seen in my time, but i'm also a younger fan graduating in '14. This actually got me thinking. Who would your all Moser era starting 5 be? It's tough to say since we're only halfway through the season but as of now i'd have to go: Montel James F Christian Thomas F Milton Doyle G Devon Turk G Clayton Custer G With Ingram/Richardson first off the bench... |

I think that Walt Gibler , Jordan Hicks, and Ben Averkamp deserve consideration for the Moser Era all star Rambler team. |

Gal is right--Her three would be on the team--BUT we are now in real time. IF we do well in Wichita and beat the Bears with our NOW team, we will be on the way to a great season--But --there is always a BUT--Now that we are going upwards, it will be from now on, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE LATELY ?? This team obviously learned a lesson against Ill St--We will be fine now !! This bunch reminds me of the team two seasons ago--Except we are better PLUS the MVC is not !! It is all in front of us---I trust we will grab it !! RUN RAMBLERS !! !!! |

For what I was proposing i was only including Moser recruits. I'd certainly be curious to see how Averkamp would have played in the Valley though. |

And Doyle is the MVC Player of the Week: Quote: MVC Player of the Week Milton Doyle, Loyola 6-4, Sr., Gd., Chicago (Ill.) Marshall High/Kansas Doyle had a huge week, averaging 24.0 points, 9.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.0 steals, while connecting on 66.7 percent (18-for-27) of his field goal attempts, including 55.6 percent (5-for-9) of his three-point tries, as Loyola went 2-0 in Valley play. The 6-foot-4 senior guard fell just shy of a triple-double, notching 13 points, eight rebounds and eight assists, to go with a pair of steals and a block, in a 77-66 victory over UNI. Doyle then produced career highs of 35 points, the most by a Rambler since Nov. 14, 2008 when J.R. Blount, now an assistant coach at Drake, dropped 42 points on Rockhurst, and ripped down a personal-best 11 rebounds in a 78-62 win at Bradley for his second career double-double. Against the Braves, Doyle hit 13 of 17 shots from the field, including 5 of 7 from three-point land. http://www.mvc-sports.com/mbasketball/n ... HQTwhsrLIU |
