Got this from Catch and Shoot....which I find a pretty good source of info, particularly for home games 3000 biggest crowd of the year by 1000 and this quote from Coach “They were very down after Northern Iowa,” Moser said. “Who gave us a boost? The crowd. I want to say thank you right after the gate to all of them. Please come back. You make a difference. You’ve just got to visualize what kind of atmosphere it would be if we fill this thing every night.” Get there if you can....be a participant.... |

I'll admit i regularly fantasize about what a full (with rambler fans) Joe would be like. I would think it would be deafening!! I would absolutely love to see that happen though. |

The only time I've seen it was for the volleyball national championship, and it was phenomenal. |

I recall the MSU, KSU and many Butler games (the Saturday ones, at least) being near capacity, with the MSU game being above capacity, if memory serves. Those were all amazing. The other game I recall is the UIC game in 2003. When David Bailey found Paul McMillian to put us up, the gym was deafening. Of course, that all drained when Ced Banks hit that long 3 to win it for UIC. Still, the atmosphere was great. Tons of students, many locals. A very good time. I hope that we see that atmosphere on a regular basis. At a minimum, I'm expecting the Joe to be that way against WSU in Feb. |

It looks like the lower bowl is mostly sold out for the Wichita game already. |

I have season tickets though it is tough to go to all of the games what with my little one. Heck, it was tough going to the game on Saturday since I was dealing with a 2 year old operating on no nap (and it showed) |

Most anything will have to work--Saturday's game should go a long way to getting us going fan-wise. They saw a good team play just well enough to win.. That is what good teams do. If Saturday's crowd was contagious, we will be on our way !! This team of ours deserves good and noisy crowds !! |

Am I the only one that likes seeing the maroon and gold scarves? I think those should be standard issue to every new freshman in their dorm room when they get to Loyola. It would be great if that was what we were known for. I think they are a unique accessory and they show up well on tv. Do they sell those at the arena? |
