Monday evening --No games for MVC--Inauguration over--Blackhawks not plaing--What to do ?? I know--MVC expansion !! Shockers leave --Sad ! Just when we are about to catch thrm--OK--EXPAND !! ( I know our Commish likes ten and no more --BUT-- I say add Valpo Detroit W Kentucky Billikens _(if they want to) and Belmont ---for a nice 14 team League with Marshall , IUFW Duquesne in the wings !!! This would move center farther east but still be a relatively compact group--- To me, the A-10 looks clumsy and with HEAVY travel expense--It could be ripe for a raid I say again--Just dreaming !!! |

14 teams is just too big for a basketball conference, IMHO. You can't play everyone twice in the year, which makes for unbalanced and unfair scheduling. The Big10 did it, and is worse off overall, IMHO. |
